Laser scanner fixed on a mobile vehicle is used to collect point cloud data over areas that are inaccessible by static survey technologies. The MLS technology has the advantage to cover large stretch of area under a short span of time. The data collected are of Engineering and Survey grade, that can be utilized for large infrastructure projects for better planning, visualization and implementation.
